One of my clients was selected to feature in the 2018 Parliamentary Review. The purpose of the Parliamentary Review is to use the input of a number of businesses and organisations to inform law and policy makers about best practice, innovations and issues within a number of industries.
Spidersnet was asked to write about the automotive industry from their viewpoint as a web services provider to car dealerships. The client asked me to plan and write the piece, which went on to feature in the publication in print and online.
To further describe what the Parliamentary Review is, here’s a section from the publication’s official website:
“Combining political commentary from leading journalists, with sector specific insight from Secretaries of State, Ministers and MPs, The Parliamentary Review is an indispensable guide to industry best practice, which demonstrates how sector leaders have responded to challenges in the political and economic environment.
“The Review has several editions, each focusing on an individual policy area with the strategic aim of raising standards by highlighting best practice.
“The Parliamentary Review is sent to over 500,000 leading business executives, policy makers and other relevant individuals. In recent years, it has featured forewords by Theresa May, David Cameron, Caroline Lucas, Lucy Powell and many other political figures. The Review’s release is marked by an annual gala in the Palace of Westminster.”

Speaking about the Parliamentary Review, Spidersnet’s M.D Sam Kidger had this to say: “Adam has worked with myself and Friday Media Group for a number of years, initially in a contractual capacity then as a freelancer, the reason we went back to Adam when he went it alone was due to the consistent quality of his content and his ability to understand and articulate the message we need to put out ant any given moment.
“Adam has put out a huge amount of quality material for us over the years but perhaps the most impacting was his piece for the Parliamentary Review in 2018.
“This piece of work and the Parliamentary Review nomination helped to further Spidersnet’s reputation as a leading supplier of technology to the automotive industry and promote us as a forward thinking company. We continue to work with Adam on a regular basis!”
